Guys, do you ever feel two completely different feelings at the same time? I’m feeling pretty excited but also devastated at the same time. Idk how to explain it :/

Same i'm in the process of breaking up with my bf and moving out, I still care about him but excited to be able to have guy friends without him policing me or getting really jealous

Cool so ur just not supposed to be friends with anyone of the opposite sex when in a relationship. Sounds like insecurity to me

It’s a respect thing. I won’t have female friends in a committed relationship insofar as I actively maintain it, acquaintances are fine

Ok it's an incompatibility thing then bc he claimed to be fine with my guy friends and clearly wasn't

Idk if it’s a compatibility thing, guy probably was just afraid to lose you over it early on, but it does bother him.

You gotta be willing to sacrifice things in a relationship, if you’re really committed to a future with them.

For me, if they were confident they would be like yeah go hang out with whoever you want, you're still gonna come home to me. That kind of mentality is so hot. Also I genuinely never felt jealous when I thought he was going to be working one on one with a woman our age for a long time

And guess what? I would still never date the guy that he was the most jealous and weird about, even though i'm single now. So he was wrong

He’s not wrong for having his stance on that. My best friend made it a red line with his wife day one and they’ve been happily married for two years.

Funny then he should've been the one to break up with me

Oh and to update this, I ended up telling my friend that we broke up and he genuinely was asking me why i'm not more sad about it, he thought it was tragic. Then he made a joke about meeting his future wife in his next class (in context that's too long to put here) but yeah he basically responded opposite to what my ex bf would have guessed. So for 2 years my ex was worrying and pissing me off over nothing

And he wants to get back together and I really don't think I will
