This is a dangerous relationship for both parties. Developing that deep emotional connection is awesome, but you should be careful. If you want it to lead somewhere, fan the flames. If not, don’t hurt each other.

Sounds like you have a stronger romantic connection to them than a sexual one, which is fine. Just make sure you’re pacing yourself, setting healthy boundaries, and not putting them on so much of a pedestal you’re missing red flags.
