I’m 19 and wish my bf of 2.5 years would propose so we could be married but he wants to wait 2ish years till he’s done. So 21-23 is my goal but sooner rather then later

I’m 19 too! And I been with him for 6 years in December. He wants to but I still feel like a kid, that’s why I asked so I don’t seem too grown lol.

lol I definitely get that. I’ve always been told that the longer you wait the more habits you build and the longer you have those habits the harder they are to break and so getting married younger before your habits are to set in the better! I love so much that you guys have been together for 6 years!! That’s so incredibly sweet! I’m the oldest of 3 and has half siblings for most of my childhood so I was the oldest of 6 so I’ve been playing mom and baby since I was a toddler so I think that’s

Omg why are our lives the same. And I can understand the habits thing, I think since it’s been so long we have been forming habits together, like rely on each other in some ways

Omg yes that’s how my bf and I are! We have known each other for like 6-8 years. We ran in the same friend group for years before we started dating. I feel so lucky to have him and I think that’s partly why I’m so ready to get married! I genuinely never thought I could find a good man after watching my parents tumultuous marriage. I grabbed onto him and never want to let go for lack of a better phrase lol.
