It’s because no one can interact without a vice. Put a bunch of people in a room with air conditioning, drinks, no phones, food, and just watch them be awkward until someone makes a move. Then it’s just follow the leader. Then you will have a grand ole time

I don’t see anything wrong with recording for actual keepsake and to capture memories, what sucks is people who only record for social media and their online presence.

There absolutely is, social media unfortunately is what’s on the mind of the majority of kids/young adults nowadays and it’s basically their life for a lot of them. A lot of them literally do certain things/go to certain events just to be able to post about them.
