I don’t understand how ppl can eliminate other ethnicities / races from dating. I understand having a type but to completely shutdown a whole race because of stereotypes or u don’t find them attractive has got to be part racism. Can someone explain why?

I can appreciate the beauty in other races but my type is extremely narrow, even in my own ethnicity

I can say the influence comes from parents culture or the parents views on other cultures upon watching the news.

but to say a whole entire ethnicity is unattractive is insane. Like as a guy, I’d date any race / ethnicity becuz attractiveness is not singular to race. Every race has good looking ppl, I just find it insane how people are quick to be like, “I’d never date a black girl” or “I’d never date an Indian” and the first reasons they list off r always stereotypes

That’s legit just racism then because if someone is attractive, skin tone don’t matter to me.

preference vs excluding cause of skin tone r two completely different things btw. You can prefer a group but excluding a group cause of their skin color / stereotypes is racism

it doesn’t matter to you. that’s not everyone. the majority of the world has a range of color palette they are comfortable with. that’s not racism. that’s biology. a black person isn’t racist for not liking how chinese people look and scandinavians aren’t racist for not being into morrocans

Some kids go against the norms, but then friends influence types to. I don’t mind any race/ethnicity, but I do think it’s 66% personality and 34% looks.
