Open during takeoff and I’ll close it when we’ve been flying for an hour or 2. There’s no point of just keeping it open if youre not looking out. Also if others have their closed and sleeping, I don’t see a point of keeping it open.

Short day flight it’s staying open the entire time. Any long or night flight it’s open for takeoff and landing and closed for the rest of the period so others can sleep easier. Doesn’t make a difference to me personally when I’m not in the window seat, but I wanna watch out of it while listening to music when I am

closed during the actual flight. ts is bright and ppl wanna sleep. the only exception is obviously if you ask the people next to you

one time i flew international and didn’t realize that the time didn’t change on my phone due to it being on airplane mode and i thought it was the middle of the night and it was actually like 8am and i opened it and everyone looked at me cause it was so bright. never been so embarrassed.

i think it also depends on what ur doing, if im reading my paperback book the overhead light sucks for window seats, if im fucking around on my phone ill close after takeoff
