yes! this is essentially the shorter version of what i was going to say. the reason it’s blue instead of any other color has to do with the angle that the sun penetrates the atmosphere, which is why as the sun goes down you can see other colors in the sky, bc the angle changed!

Also has to do with wavelength! Blue light has a shorter wavelength and scatters in a way that makes it easy for the human eye to pick up (except for when the sun is rising/setting because of a different angle causing the light to have to pass through more atmosphere therefore scattering differently)
