Make a photo book with head shots and body shots in all black clothing. Then apply to different agencies and find local open castings (many are available in Columbus and Gahanna). When you apply to agencies, if they EVER tell you to pay, THEY ARE NOT LEGIT!! The modeling industry is filled with scams so please do research.

In your off time, make sure to always look your best. Modeling means you’re a walking billboard and your looks and fashion are your own advertisement. You may potentially be scouted as well!! But look for nearby open castings and you’ll be set! Modeling is a full time job and the workouts and diet are rigorous but they help you in so many aspects. Modeling made me learn discipline to a healthy body and learn how to advocate for myself

Find a specific category of modeling you want to be in: Paper (magazine, online shopping), Fitting (Trying on clothes for fashion models), or Runway (walking down runways to advertise more luxury companies). You’ve got this and feel free to DM me if you have any questions! :)

I used to work for Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, and Calvin Klein. As a woman, I’ve heard many stories from men about having to play with themselves before pictures to bring in engagement so stay away from any underwear modeling if you aren’t into that (especially for digital footprint, assuming you’re in college). Sigal Models is a nice beginner company with many open castings and you can eventually advance!
