in early childhood developmenty teacher made sure to show us research on how giving boys toys that are traditionally for girls raises their empathy and giving girls toys that are traditionally for boys raises their confidence, along with watching & talking about media like Frozen where a feminine girl saves the day is good for all kids.

No because in what ways are boys and girls NOT socialized the same? Do we all not go to school together, play in parks, go to extracurriculars, stores, public places, all the same? That’s what socialize means. If you’re talking about things like dress codes or gender roles that’s not really how we’re socialized that’s more related to sexism or patriarchy or even gender roles. I’m not the only one that didn’t understand what this person was trying to say because socialized really isn’t an
