What do we do if we’re too self aware for a therapist? Am I just fucked, do I keep talking to myself?

As someone who is also really self-aware, and thought therapy wouldn’t do shit. I find talking to a therapist actually helps because it’s nice to have someone to kinda dissect yourself if that makes sense? I have new revelations and epiphanies on a weekly basis thanks to my therapist😝 also finding a therapist with a sense of humor helps

I don’t think there is a thing as too self aware! If you have the right therapist you will have new insights, there’s no limit to what you can learn about yourself. Mine has also helped with advice on finance management, opinions on careers, etc
