I expect my wife to stay at home anyway and cook and clean and never argue with me or cheat and I pay 100

I see two extremes, I do not want either. 1950s housewife: 0% financial obligation, 100% domestic obligation. 2020 equality: 50% financial obligation, 50% domestic obligation. Domestic chores are things we all do like: Laundry, groceries, cleaning dishes/countertops/floors, making meals, organizing decorations, bedtime/naps/diapers/games for children...

If you are already concerned about finances & kids… best not to have kids till money isnt an issue. Kids are $$$$

I'd be personally happiest with myself (a man) having 75% financial obligation, 25% domestic. Or if I am being totally irrational I have zero obligation and the woman takes care of 100% of everything lol. But tbh that would probably make her resent me because that is a selfish piece of shit way to conduct ones self

This was more of a curiosity type of question, not a real scenario. I would like to try to understand people’s perspective on different things, and was curious if any men actually had this expectation and could explain it to me. I’m sorry if that came off as me being concerned about money and having kids!
