Hell yeah! But DEFINITELY work at places that sell liquor! Breakfast spots are just NOT worth it!

Serving is whatever you put into it you’ll get out of it. If you genuinely work hard 9 out of 10 times you’ll get tipped well. I’ve worked with great servers that make $400 a day in tips and I’ve worked terrible ones that complain they only get $80 for a day.

this place is a diner. they sell alcohol but also breakfast, lunch, & dinner. is that good?😭

Hm, I’d aim for dinner shifts then and Sunday lunch shifts. After church rush can go craaaazy on sundays. Remember Fridays and saturdays are your work besties!

they wanna hire me to work second shift so 3 to whatever time they close (i think its 9 sun-th & then 10 fri & sat)

That sounds pretty good! But I’d befriend some coworkers to find out what days they think have rushes. I know my job has rushes on wednesdays because of a theatre nearby. So find out about stuff like that.
