Sounds manipulative as hell, why can’t you just say hey can you do me a favor

Probably just call people and ask don’t send such a lengthy text

if my family member sent me this I would probably 1. be confused and 2. make fun of them

Your tires probably aren’t losing air, the air inside is just condensing cause it’s getting cold outside

Why is it manipulative? And I’m afraid of being a burden because everyone is busy.

If you can’t support yourself, you are someone’s burden. Being afraid of being one is moot. Just ask. Might help your case if you offer to pay them back. I am curious about the things you asked about besides money however. Time, mental and emotional bandwidth? What does that even mean? What are you asking of them?

I did write in the letter an offer to repay:

Everyone seems to be busy. My grandma is dealing with some health issues. My mom is preparing for the new semester for her community college professor job. And trying to help my grandma. People have jobs. And are stressed out.

Good, you offered to pay them back. But you still said don’t help me unless you can give me all I want like mental and emotional bandwidth. What are saying? You won’t make the deal unless they meet the terms and conditions? What does give me time mean? Does that mean you won’t take the deal if they give you a deadline to pay them back?

I don’t want anyone to feel obligated to help someone who should theoretically be able to help himself.

No one is theoretically capable of helping themselves, you can either do it or you can’t, it’s black and white. If you told me that you couldn’t get a job unless some unforeseen circumstance arises, how could I trust you to pay me back anyway? Go to a temp agency, you can walk in and walk out with a job.

It’s been this way since last spring. They lose air every few days. And I have to go out air in them.
