Why does no one seem to care about epilepsy? It's a fairly common condition and it's well known what triggers it, yet people still post or even televise strobe lights all the time with no warning

Thank you for saying this. I don’t have epilepsy but I’m incredibly photosensitive. And the amount of times one of my friends has “accidentally” shown me some strobe light brain rot meme should actually be illegal.

as an epileptic, no. unless you making it ABUNDANTLY clear to your audience that it’s something you struggle with then everyone is gonna go about their day as is and not think about how light COULD affect you because it’s just light to them. it’s the unfortunate truth but with the right people they will help and support you through what you need

I don’t have epilepsy but I love when youtubers/content creators put warnings in their videos. I love sandbox/destruction games and not all sandbox game youtubers put obvious warnings

It’s interesting that, out of all forms of media, video games are the one that actually does this. At least with most AAA games you’ll get a warning for it, a little less consistent with indie titles.
