I would accept it then talk to him to change it just for the color. Be nice about it and still show gratitude for thoughtfulness yk?

absolutely no thought was put into this gift so no he doesnt deserve your gratitude. if he asked for a phone case and has an iphone 13 but you got him a for the pro or for an android, then you're just showing that you dont listen to
