I majored in history and have had no jobs even remotely related to it, but it was what I enjoyed studying. Probably not the most career focused decision but it made college more meaningful for me.

Either go be a professor or go to law school

Maybe double major!! History and Economics are really good. Or History and Mathematics. I don’t think a sole history major would offer many careers outside of lawyer, academia, museums, or writing gigs
