I think it’s funny how people complain that they’re broke with a job. Japanese salarymen get paid about $1200 once a month and even they have money to save. You 100% do not know how to budget. Period.

That still applies. It’s not so much the rent that kills. Car insurance and monthly payment is the hitman. I would rather pay 1200 in rent rather than 400-600 car payments. You know?

That's not even a realistic (like not even remotely close) figure for how much rent costs these days for the most basic living

Not my fault people are dumb. Rent should be below 30% of income. It’s VERY manageable

If your car payment exceeds anywhere from 10-20% of your take home pay, you can’t afford it.
