Yes total fine, just make sure you tell them your focusing on the now and not looking ahead to marriage or whatever you may end up with. A lot of people that get upset about the marriage are the ones expecting you to be waiting for marriage. A lot older people to Just ask that a lot then it turns into when you gonna have kids when you gonna have house

Know tons of people who never want marriage but have been in or are in very serious relationships for years. They live together, all the things the just aren’t married. Your not treating your significant other any differently from being gf/bf to legal married in a serious relationship

It’s dating for a relationship. Not everyone wants to be married. Not everyone sees a point in marriage. Some see marriage as only a religious. Others just aren’t thinking about marriage till they’ve been with someone for years. Marriage would be an extra step or unnecessary steps to some. You treat people right not matter what kind of relationship your wanting.
