Unfortunately there is no 100% safety and I have less faith in being able to anticipate an attack well enough to fumble out the spray and I do stabbing a dude who’s already on me. Either he wants my body and might be scared off by a knife, or he’s already planning to kill me and it doesn’t matter if he uses my knife to do it or not

That defeats the purpose of a “defensive” tool, you’re supposed to remain alive when it’s over with the help of your defensive instrument

Careful with that ring, in some states it’s a felony to use a large ring to strike someone. Kudos on your decision to get a gun, I believe more women should be packing heat and be trained on how to use it.

Not entirely but I don’t trust myself to always have time to train with it, and it has a similar issue of me needing the awareness to use it. The intimidation factor would be great, but firearms scare me more, and I have experience with knives. A pistol would be a lot easier to take from me I think Tl;dr not off the table, just not preferred
