honestly i think its bc men like the status quo/dont see misogyny even when its right in front of them, so they do nothing to fight against the men that uphold this system on purpose. factor there being a large chunk of women who think sucking up to men and betraying other women will save them (it wont). the sad thing is that almost all parties involved are harmed by the patriarchy (except the men in the epstein files whove been running this shit) but not enough to do anything about it
