If it’s demographics and other science-y things then it’s fine. With exception to “she’s my best female friend” or “they’re my favorite female rapper” then I’d say it’s a no go. It’s dehumanizing

Well I agree with not wanting to dehumanize anyone but saying “my favorite woman rapper” doesn’t really roll off the tongue… in science and demographics sure that’s a given but what about in social settings or in general. There are lots of cases where groups of women and girls coexist in a space

If you read it I said “with exception”, so we’re in agreement about the female rapper example I’d still say it’s to be avoided in just about any other situation
