Don’t attack me for this cuz ik a lot disagree. But I’m genuinely curious as to why it’s seen as wrong or cruel that people who came to this country in violation of immigration laws are being sent back?

i think its the method in which it is being done thats the main issue. other ones include the seeming lack of care/concern for the external circumstances of the families/individuals & the families/individuals themselves (even going as far as dehumanization), the lack of effort to fix the immigration system which would allow ppl to immigrate here LEGALLY despite the fact that legal immigration is made to seem like this easy catch-all solution that ppl r just not taking for whatever reason

Because common sense is no longer important to us as a society and we encourage victimization instead of being strong.

If we went to another country illegally they’d send us packing

Cause people are too soft these days. It’s all about “how you feel” and not about actually doing what we can to keep this country afloat. I get that folks feel bad, but those guys knew what they were doing so they get sent back for breaking laws. If they come in the legal way then welcome to the home of the free 🇺🇸

also mistakes/miscommunications surrounding deportations, & i could prolly think of others but idek if this was meant to be a rhetorical question so i prolly put too much thought into this answer in the first place🫠
