It’ll definitely take time for you to adjust to something like that, but eventually it will be a part of you and not just something that happened to you. No need to be insecure! Some people may look/be curious/ask, but i don’t think it’d ever be with any sort of malintent. Plus, confidence is attractive (in a general way, not just romantic) whether you have scars or not. And I think lingering soreness is normal as long as it’s not like sharp or extreme!

I had wrist surgery this year and have a huge bumpy scar and honestly i feel like it’s just a story to tell, you shouldn’t be ashamed of it and it just shows u lived through a hard experience
