okay but are they still a good person? have they been a good friend to you? they’re allowed to have different beliefs… if they’re harsh about your beliefs and you’re uncomfortable i would understand and that’s different.

Depends on the politics. I’m queer and gay marriage is still seen as a political issue rather than a moral or religious one. I believe that we shouldn’t fund genocide. I believe in equality. I believe all children should be fed. As long as they agree with that, I don’t care if we bare knuckles battle about the how’s and whys and details, we’re friends. If they disagree, we’re not. Simple as that.
