Is there a good way to respectfully ask a non binary person is they are biologically male or female?

For context they are one of my coworkers and we got lunch together to which after they revealed they liked me and they are a great person and I like their personality but respectfully to them I’m into women and I don’t want to waste their time. Maybe I’m being a terrible person I just don’t want to hurt them more than I might if I see where this goes, I’m just trying not to lead them on

telling them that you’re only willing to date them if you can view them as a woman will not go down well. you’re not a terrible person for only wanting to date women, but if you’re only into women you should only go out with women
