I’ve talked abt this with my partner and I think it’s because up until your mid 20s you are in a constant state of dramatic, visible aging and life changes. So in that mindset you assume it’ll be like that forever. But once you hit your mid 20s everything kind of just levels out for like 15-20 years, then you might start showing signs of aging in your 40s
