It’s actually scary easy to get diagnosed with Lyme disease and it’s one of those things that’s often misdiagnosed because the symptoms overlap with a lot of other things (like the symptoms of chronic stress) and the diagnostic criterium are relatively low (sometimes just having a rash can get you diagnosed). Doesn’t mean he doesn’t actually have it. But I personally think it’s far more likely that perhaps there’s something else going on with him that is harder to publicly admit.
