Just say you aren’t interested in going. You don’t have to make it a big deal. Tell them you have other plans with friends.

We havent gone yet, but i wouldnt really say its a debate on going, just a debate of if i should keep my mouth shut (which they will likely call me an ass for) or speak my mind

I come to find with family it’s typically best to just keep peace. I’ve been there where it feels like a losing battle. If I were in your shoes I’d probably try to go through the exhibits through their eyes and that can be its own form of fun. At the end just comment on what you thought was interesting rather than trying to get into logic
