I have a question for both sides of the Gaza war. How do you justify what your side is doing? Not “well Oct 7.” Or “well 70 years ago in the nakba.” Now. Continues in comments.

Let’s say Israel bombs a hospital because there were Hamas fighters under it. The question for someone who’s pro IDF is “why did they choose to strike that target? Why couldn’t they have done differently?” And the question for someone who’s anti IDF would be “why was Hamas there? Why were they under the hospital in the first place?”

I think you found the answer! Both sides are just aggressive manipulative sand people and we should let them just duke it out.

Israel has broken peace deals and cease fires multiple times

#2 saying "Oh easy... Israel continues to lie..." We get it #2 you have picked a side. It's pro Palestine. Therefore everything Israel says is a lie. Reality. Both sides lie. Both sides kill civilians. Israel kills them in large numbers in short periods of time. Hammas kills in smaller numbers over longer periods of time.

That has oddly racist overtones.

Okay… but that’s exactly what I asked you not to do. They could say the same thing about Oct 7 or numerous other attacks by Hamas and its allies in violation of various peace accords.

If you disqualify every actual attack or retaliatory strike then it’s going to look like people are blowing eacother up for the hell of it

Once again, I’m not looking for the argument on who started it. I’m looking at why they are doing what they’re doing now. Which side is fundamentally responsible for the war doesn’t justify evil behavior on the opposite side. I’m not asking what happened 70 years ago, why does Hamas have military assets in hospitals now?

And I’m pressing you on the actions of Hamas simply because you spoke from an anti Israel position. If someone pro IDF said “well Hamas started it on Oct 7.” I would offer the same criticism.

Oh this is an easy one, they don’t. Israel continues to lie about where Hamas operate to destroy necessary infrastructure like hospitals supply lines in Gaza. And Hamas is attacking Israel because they are occupying Palestinian land. This is fundamentally a war to eradicate Muslims in the region and construct a Jewish ethnostate.

So you contend that there is absolutely no major Hamas presence in any of the hospitals Israel has struck? Major in this case meaning weapons cashes, fighting positions, fighter concentrations or tunnel infrastructure.

I’m sure there was SOME presence in the hospitals but I do not believe they were major Hamas ops like they want to say they are

So no tunnels or command centers? Mohammed Dief was not actually killed in a tunnel complex beneath a hospital?
