I think people misunderstood this to mean that patrick Clancy is criminally responsible. Which makes sense in hindsight

It’s just a bad take. She admitted to doing it. But practically how would he be responsible? He provided her health care, a nanny, moved her mom, took off of work for paternity leave. Ironically the only time he wasn’t there for was because she sent him out for errands while she unalived his three kids and performative tried to kill herself by jumping out of a second story window (which is like 12 feet, aka double the height of a 6ft man)
