Did any conversation come up that might have been divisive? Politics, abortion, religion? Something might have stirred the pot (no fault of your own) where this person wanted to pause and take a step back. It could be that between your time together and the next time you met something major happened in their life where they’re dealing with a lot. Their mind could be elsewhere.
