Hi OP, sorry to hear. Your parents are thinking like aristocrats. The only answer is to seek Jesus Christ. Open a history book and even the kings and emperors were not immune to tragedy and conspiracies from their own family members. The earth cannot produce ever lasting purpose. This is why nothing on this earth outshine Christ.
