It's not delusional. It's raw sexual energy that anyone can have with anybody. The real question is is it enough to sustain a lifetime relationship. Most of the time it isn't. That's some people's actual excuse as to why we're not meant to be monogamous. Which is bullshit. There's plenty of species out here that mate for their lifetime. Whichever timeframe that species has to live
