Personally I don’t mind at all when people do that as long as it isn’t like constant, constant meaning like every minute or two while I’m watching something, but a few tiktoks occasionally is great! I like seeing what people like :)

I’m audhd as well I don’t like when people interrupt things but if you’re going to show a video to anyone ever you should ask if you can show them and give them an idea of how long the video is. I’m much more willing to pause for a minute than like six minutes. I also dislike lots of overlapping audio so someone playing videos on top of a tv being on sucks.

I’ll be honest, it would annoy me. Occasionally is okay, especially if I’m not particularly invested in what I’m doing, but if I’m in the middle of something and have to halt all my momentum just to see memes I’m gonna get a little annoyed Just ask your friends how they feel, and go based on that. Everyone will have different reactions, and I’m sure some will take it as permission to show you TikTok’s back :) it’s just very much not for me
