As someone who gets approached by strangers all the time, no it’s not weird! I like when strangers start a random conversation with me or add into mine. But I’m also an extrovert who enjoys talking.

You and I must be from vastly different places 😭 I also feel like if that happened to me I’d get all scared and closed off but that’s just a me problem

Also we probably are from different places yet if I lived where you did I’m 80% sure strangers would talk to me and I’d talk to them

Like I said, it’s a me problem. I just felt like going up to people in public randomly is sort of frowned upon

Do you have any evidence to support this claim or are you operating from a fear of rejection?

Well my “evidence” is that it never happens to me nor do I see it happening to anyone else. Ofc there’s a fear of rejection but more than that I’d just feel stupid and uncomfortable trying to do that when I don’t see anyone else doing it
