Ceiling to first floor. Look into “live load” vs passive loads for the reason

By “ceiling to the first floor” do you mean the 2nd floor? Or like just the drywall on the ceiling?

The first n Basement mostly contains most of the weight I built houses for 6 years in my opinion I’d say first n basement bc the beam posts are in the basement so it depends what kind of house you ahve
