Honestly the bad thing about age gaps isn’t necessarily the gap, it’s whether they use that experience to take advantage of you. If you’re comfortable, I wouldn’t worry

If you have your own conviction then why ask others? I’m sure you know there are people with age gaps of over 20 years- in their case no one but themselves decided whether they were ok with that or not, if the other person made them happy enough to ignore their age gap, or if they thought that person was enough to ignore any previous perception on age gaps they may have had. So it’s your decision entirely whether a 5 yr age gap is going to be a problem. What you two think is all that matters.
