I think the longer you keep it from him the worse it’ll be when you tell him. Do it sooner rather than later

You need to be straight up with him and explain what happened. If he’s super supportive as u say ask him to help you make a plan to get ur life back on track. It’s not to late. Start applying to jobs and government aid (if u truly are deserving and qualify be honest and don’t bs) Ask him to help apply to community college and continue from there. Build a month long plan of what to do then a year long plan then 2 years and try to make your way back to college. There’s nothing the school will

do or you can do. If shoulda been on your parents to diagnose you with this especially if you had these problems previously. If this just started and these learning problems just started in college then this is a deflection of you being lazy (i highly doubt that tho this seems serious and u seem real) you can’t deflect blame tho here you just gotta take accountability and pull you shit together. It’s in the past and all you can do is move forward

again if ur father is as supportive and responsive as you say everything will be ok, he may be a little mad and upset but he will still (and should) back you up and help you build a plan. Don’t expect a handout from him tho, show some actually change

1. I do already have a job, so that’s fine 2. I’ll see what doctors suggest, because it’s a neurological condition so it’s either something I’m born with or developed later in life due to a head injury (I did take a nasty hit to the head around the same time the symptoms started) and we’ll see if the process differs 3. I got accepted back into my college and they have great disability accommodation programs, so I’ve been putting in the paperwork to get housing and academic accommodations
