When you have a song stuck in your head, to what extent is that? Is it your voice or the singer’s voice? Can you hear every part of it? Can you control it and change the song like a radio?

This is an interesting concept ngl, for me it’s the artist and a mix of me singing usually just the parts of the song I remember the most. Unless I am obsessed and memorized the whole song and got it on lock. I say me “singing” it in my head tho bc I have been surrounded by music and sing my whole life!

Something is wrong with you way down deep inside?

For me, it’s always full songs, every single detail, to the point it feels like I’m hallucinating that shit playing from my headphones, but even with them off it sounds the same. Sometimes it’s just in my head but more often than not it feels like it stems from my ears. I can usually prompt a song to do this as long as it’s catchy enough, but it’ll only sometimes go away by my own effort. It’s like having full control of a radio most of the time, I can listen to full songs on loop for hours

I’m asking besides that, just trying to see how it works for other people 😭

Why does it matter what works for other people? You need to worried about what works for you

I’m moreso asking bc I’m noticing I have psychotic symptoms lately and I’m looking to see if there’s a differentiation between this and a hallucination. It’ll give me a better perspective to know that clearly, it’s purely so I know if I should bring it up to a doctor or not

How about bring it up to a Dr anyway? None of these people here have medical degrees
