No, it sounds polite and respectful which is never a bad thing

A tiny bit? I usually go for “Thanks for your time! Best, Your name”

I usually just do: Thank you, Student.

just go with the classic “Thank you,” or if you wanna be slightly more casual just “Thanks,”
