I’m scared for my freshmen year of college :/ What should I look out for, or things to remember?

Ur school has resources for a reason, if you need help use them. There is no shame in doing so

#2 is so real I had to work a job my 4 years here and I feel like I missed out on so much because I worked so much and wasn’t able to do clubs and other stuff

Don’t be afraid to experiment. Make mistakes. Go out and party. Hang out with that boy (or girl). Join clubs. Don’t sit in your dorm all day long. College is an experience you only get once.

How old are you since you used the hashtag late college?

Don’t feel like you 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 to do what’s popular just because it’s popular. Assuming you’re starting at 18 in the US you obviously won’t be able to go out for drinks, but if someone in a group decides to bring some, don’t feel like you have to drink just because others are. Don’t be afraid to reach out to professors if you’re unclear on something. They’d rather spend a few minutes clarifying in an email than have you do poorly.

I know, it’s just like I want some info on what college life is, and like how do I navigate it 🤷🏾

Basically no matter what you do there will be some level of stress. Getting outside and in nature is one of the best was to deal with this (scientifically proven too!) Even just a walk in the park for 20 minutes, even if you’re playing Pokémon go or listening to music, can be one of the easiest ways to de-stress. And try to make at least one friend who really gets you, someone you can talk to without any fear of judgment.
