Most of my close friends at college are guys, I’m a girl. Nothing weird has ever come of it, we didn’t choose friends based on gender

In my experience, extremely rarely and never best friends. For almost two decades every single guy friend I’ve ever had has confessed his feelings or faded away, with this year being the only exception and even then only with guys that I have to actively keep at a distance. I’ve noticed that guys specifically struggle to have girls as just friends much more frequently than women do to men.

Yea but there’s usually tension especially if you get along really well. Has always happened to me and the women I’ve been close friends with. Ended up doing things with 2 of them as well at one point… still kept talking to them and hanging out tho 😊
