I asked Gemini to create a chart of average national gas prices over the last 6 years. Prices peaked in June of 2022. They are indeed way up again with the war in Iran of course but they are current below the peak levels from 2022.

all i’m saying and this is not political debate or a bash on anyone of you but when oil goes up so does fuel. we mine our own oil yes, but we do not have an refinery’s in the U.S. so when oil goes up so does all fossil fuels. we have to ship all of our oil out across seas to get refined which causes prices to go up aswell, in the last 2 years oil and fuel have gone down to the lowest since 2019, then they sky rocketed because of the wars and everything else going on, yes the wars effect a lot.

Ok yes oil is literally fuel they’re the same thing thanks. I also know we barely have any oil at all we get it from other countries. It sounded like a really random comment to make if it wasn’t political—and it absolutely is political by the way our president is spending our taxes on an illegal war that has killed thousands of Iranians and hundreds of US Soldiers in the few weeks since it started. Hundreds of young Americans who should be starting they’re lives but they had to die for trump
