To the ppl saying shaving is “more hygienic”… hair grows where it’s needed to protect a body part, pubic hair especially keeps bacteria and infections away and actually helps fight off odor. There are actual academic studies and papers on this topic please educate yourself ❤️

Biology student here! Pubic hair body hair armpit hair it EXISTS! FOR A REASON!! Nobody is required to do anything to their own body just because you’ve spent your life being told that it’s… unhygienic? It isn’t, by the way. As long as your showering, bathing, whatever(which you should be doing anyway) pubic hair isn’t any more gross than other parts of your body. Your free to do to your body what you want, but the societal pressure for women to shave is kind of gross

It’s all about preference! Some women like having no hair for themselves, I included.

I’m fair skinned with dark hair and have hirsutism. I used to be so unabashed by my body hair and I was so unapologetic when people found it gross, but my mom forced me to learn how to shave (against my will) when I was 13, and after seeing so many guys disgusted by female body hair I’ve felt bad about it and feel bad about it whenever I’m not shaved. It’s super difficult in the winter when my eczema is bad because it makes it even worse. It’s natural, it’s not a choice, and we shouldn’t be made

I’m a dude, and shave everything aside from a triangle just above my dick. I’m bi and like feeling pretty in a girly way. Do you, girlypop. I like it when my gf is slipping around with me, and when she scratches me up. No bad choices. Life is wild, enjoy it.

No I think it bc it looks gross. It’s masculine I don’t like it. Also more stinky in my opinion (not fact just opinion)

The idea that it is masculine is an indoctrinated idea.

Yes men and women have masculine trait. For example Adams Apple on men are masculine. Hair for me in my opinion is masculine trait.

Ok I’m telling you my opinion of what I think is masculine. I just used the Adams Apple as an example. I’ll use a better one men typically have bigger hands more masculine. Women typically smaller more feminine.

Shaving can cause infections your hair doesn’t fight it in any meaningful way. Its just a larger breeding ground/environment for bacteria

I feel like you just stepped over the point… SHAVING can cause infections not HAVING HAIR. Shaving creates a breeding ground for bacteria

Head size is entirely dependent on proportions, there’s nothing “feminine” about small heads especially if your proportions don’t match

literally. if it keeps men like #13 away, then i will gladly continue to not shave.

upvote 6 downvote

also side note: i’m asian so i grow almost no body hair at all so it’s not worth it to try to shave when you naturally can’t see the hair on me and bush stays pretty light as well. like i can wear a thong bikini and you can’t see her at all despite me not shaving and/or trimming.
