Depends where in the US, the program you’re in, and the schools demographics in terms of “fitting in.” I believe if you want to do it, do it. Your heart will regret it if you dont. Don’t worry about trying to fit in with anyone…this World Cup is a great example of America having open arms to other ethnicities, cultures, and all else. Florida and Massachusetts seem to be great spots for this environment it seems you are looking for. If you have any other concerns dm me
