Because they hate women and minorities far more than anything else and his entire platform is built on hurting as many as possible.

I’m a conservative female, please don’t lump me in with that. I’m conservative for me, not everyone else. I think that in the beginning he was appealing to a lot of the “American dream” people, and I think that some, SOME VERY SMALL PARTS, of what he’s done is good. It in no way out weighs the bad, and I think that many people don’t care about what he says and just his good actions are enough, if people like him and have no inner moral struggle with his actions walk the other way.

He did seem to turn himself into a false idol and relish it a bit, but watching his behavioral patterns, he appears to have become much more humble despite recent political/legal/strategic/and physical attacks aiming at him. I ask myself do I wish to be judged by things I said two years ago? I’m guilty of many similar things: idolatry, pride, womanizing. People have tried to kill me (veteran). I figure we be the change we want to see in the world, I’ve become more humble and he appears to.

He doesn’t care, which is seen as a strength. He’s a ragging asshole, doesn’t give in to people, makes crude remarks, it’s disgusting. But he speaks his mind, and I think that some also feel that an honest jerk is better than a lying kind person. Getting a lot of weird looks for not agreeing with him while being conservative and I’m hoping that there’s change soon, and that people realize that he’s not a good person.

Yes all he does is lie (and I’m not agreeing with #3 in any way shape or form), but damn, that was a little harsh! #3 was giving what OP asked for, their opinion as to why other conservatives still like him. They even said that they DONT agree with him or what he’s been doing. You don’t even fully know which conservative values they believe. As someone who is left leaning, don’t insult someone you don’t know without real reason

I think they blocked me or something. But I’m genuinely just stating what things I’ve heard and what some conservative people around me have said. I don’t like Trump. I know he’s dishonest, and overall a gross man, to put it lightly. As for my conservative views, I can go into it, but majority of it I only apply to myself and still vote so that people can be free to make their own choices, being conservative doesn’t mean I’m for him at all.
