I mean it’s not really a question whether she did it, she clearly did. The question is whether or not she was in a psychosis so intense that she is not criminally responsible, which is kind of not a straight “guilty or not guilty” in my opinion. I guess my answer is she did it and should probably go to a mental institution instead of jail, but I wouldn’t call that “innocent”.

yes yes, im just weirded out by Patrick having not shown emotion? while lindsay has cried in court, i mean i know people show emotion and remorse differently, but it seems like he doesn’t care in a way?

I will NEVER use how someone grieves as evidence against them because we all have such different reactions, especially a parent grieving a child. I’ve never had my three young children brutally murdered in one night, I have truly no idea how I would react or if it would be the “right” way.

Have you heard of the “dingo ate my baby” case? The mother was crucified by a captivated media for not showing enough emotion and being too composed, as they alleged this was proof she killed her child. She was wrongfully convicted and only freed years later when new evidence came to light— a dingo really did eat her baby!

i'm not a true crime listener at all but I listen to multiple politics/news podcasts and have heard 0 words about it. I think it might be a very online/true crime phenomenon
