Do you really think AI will take human jobs? I’ve asked 4 times in a row the same question… yes I’d rather speak with a human

If it makes the company more money even if it means sacrificing a standard of service? Yes. Yes I do think that.

It definitely will. Providing a 75% worse service for 85% less money is a deal most companies will take.

Tbh even if it "can" on paper, I feel like the amount of backlash to its implementation in the service field, because of shit like this, will cause companies to backpeddle on its implementation a bit, at least for the foreseeable future.

yes it 1000% will. reminder that ai is the worst it will ever be again right now. we went from will smith spaghetti to somewhat realistic video in the span of less than 2 years i think.

Whenever I got a bot on a phone, I always say "speak to a human" on repeat bc these things can never help (and I'd rather talk to a human even if they could, I want people to have jobs, not bots). Things can't even confirm an appointment for me smh

I get it, but wouldn’t that just likely make them less money in the end? Poor service makes me not want to use certain products and companies. How long do they think this will last?

I see why they would. But just like any long term generationally successful business there needs to be some high quality service, these modern companies have only technology at their advantage, how long will humanity accept this kind of poor service?

I agree with you, but the companies always think in terms of short term profit

These giant corporations don’t hardly feel it. When you’re dealing with billions, hundreds don’t really matter that much.

not really? the wages they don’t have to pay more than make up for it. Say it’s like 30,000 a year per person, and there’s like 1000 people in the world doing customer service. The odds are, shitty customer service is not going to lose AMAZON 30 million in sales, so they pick that not to mention like, office expenses, management expenses, phone expenses, etc etc
