My parents work together and both make $130k+ And both my parents have turned down jobs because they wanted to be there for me and my sibling’s events.
Ladies let this sink in if you’re wanting to be a stay at home mom etc. The more a job pays, the more time needed for said job, typically. Meaning your man can’t spend as much time with you or your kids. Do you really want that?

My parents divorced when I was 5. One being an attorney and another in college for nursing didn’t allow the time for me and my brother to have many events going on

Exactly. My parents turned down jobs where they’d make more to be at my events etc. They put me before themselves

Oh I know I’m fine. I just don’t want a woman who expects me to carry all the finances but then gets upset when I am solely carrying it and can’t make it to certain things. Like that person’s ex. She wanted to rent out properties to people yet didn’t want to leave her $37k job. That puts all the pressure on him to make that happen. That’s beyond stupid. Especially when you also want him there to be an equally supportive parent
