Has anyone actually gotten Botox for migraines or daith piercings for migraines and do they actually work?

I have a couple friends who got botox for migraines and it works great, but the diath only works by the power of placebo

My aunt got a daith for her migraines, she lives by it. It’s probably different for everyone though

I would go with what ur doctors say then !! Especially if they suggested more than once, I know you have to have a certain amount of headaches / migraines per month to be eligible for Botox so if they’re suggesting it I’d go with that

I think I’ve been putting it off because it requires a bunch of needles and Botox is a botulinum toxin where it can kill you if it isn’t done just right

That’s understandable. Lots of people get Botox for different reasons though and according to Google it’s extremely rare to die from. The last death was over 20 years ago, just make sure your doctor is trustworthy and maybe get second opinions about whoever would be doing your Botox on Facebook or something
